Parolium : words in action...

The words have ears !

In what kind of jungle did man invent his sounds? Were the first sounds coming out of the throat, unarticulated, breathy, tuned to steps in the mud...?

François Rossé's sound world associates the primitve state of improvisation and the refinement of the written score. As an improvising pianist, each musical technique inspires the other. The polycultural time-space of his style, makes him one of the most versatile musicians of the new music scene.

Parolium is a story, an imaginary story integrating the contemporary society, the words going through various stages of metaphores and metamorphosis through a musical expedition. We witness a true adventure, where language goes from birth to destruction by virtue of insignificant repetition.

Finally, each shadow of a word is suggested by a music which in turn is inspired by the theatricality of the word...
